The club was formerly known as Kessben F.C. before changing its name to Medeama Sporting Club in January 2011. Moses Armah is the President and owner of Medeama SC. It was founded in 2002. Its home ground is Abrankese Stadium in Abrankese, Ashanti Region, formerly played in Anane Boateng Stadium between 2008. Sponsorship is Coca-Cola Ghana Ltd. The license of the club was in December 2010 sold to Tarkwa based Medeama SC.

TNA Park is a multi-use stadium in Tarkwa, Ghana. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Ghana Premier League team Medeama SC. The stadium currently holds 12,000 people. With the promotion of Emmanuel Stars FC to the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2010–2011 season, the stadium became their home ground.
