The France national basketball team (French: Équipe de France de basketball) represents France in international basketball and is administered by the French Basketball Federation. France has been a regular at the EuroBasket, with 37 appearances, the most of any nation. Their best results have been a gold medal at EuroBasket 2013 and silver medals in 1949 and 2011. The French squad has also won two silver medals at the Summer Olympics, in 1948 and 2000. France's best result at the FIBA World Cup came in 2014, when it finished in third place.
