Djurgårdens IF Ishockeyförening (English: Djurgården IF Ice Hockey Club) is a professional ice hockey team based in Stockholm, Sweden, affiliated with the Djurgårdens IF umbrella organization. Djurgården is the most successful Swedish hockey team of all time, as 16-time Swedish Champions, 9-time runners-up, and leaders of the marathon table for the top flight of Swedish hockey, as well as two-time European Cup winners. Following two seasons in second-tier HockeyAllsvenskan, Djurgården has been promoted for play in the SHL for the 2014–15 season. Djurgården's home arena is Hovet, with a capacity of 8,094, but high-profile matches such as derbies against AIK and some playoff games are played in the Ericsson Globe with its larger capacity of 13,850. The most common nicknames for the team are "Järnkaminerna" (The Iron Stoves), "Stockholms stolthet" (The Pride of Stockholm) and "Mesta mästarna" (The Winners of Most Championships). Djurgården also has a supporters' club called Järnkaminerna, which it shares with the football department.

Hovet ("The Court"), formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion, is an arena in Stockholm mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena. A roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. The arena's main tenants are ice hockey clubs AIK and Djurgårdens IF. The official capacity is 8,094 spectators for ice hockey events and 8,300 during concerts. The arena was officially inaugurated on 4 November 1955 with an ice hockey game between Sweden and Norway, which Sweden won 7–2. The original designer was Swedish architect Paul Hedqvist. A roof was added for the 1962 World Ice Hockey Championships. During the fall of 2002, every chair was replaced and a restaurant area was added at one of the short ends. Other than AIK and Djurgårdens IF, Hovet has been the regular home arena in different periods for IK Göta, IFK Stockholm, Stureby SK, Mälarhöjden/Västertorp, Brinkens IF, AC Camelen, and Hammarby IF. Since its inaugural year in 2008, Bajen Fans IF, renamed Hammarby IF after the former club, plays one game annually at Hovet.
