The Dormagener handball club Rhineland was a handball club from Dormagen . The club was created as a spin-off of the professional team from the handball department of TSV Bayer Dormagen with the aim of economic independence. After the previous main sponsor Bayer AG left the sport of handball, the first men's team was spun off as an independent club. The home games took place in the TSV Bayer Sportcenter, which was rented for the league games from TSV Bayer Dormagen. Today the first team starts again for the home club TSV Bayer Dormagen.
